Spring is finally here! We still have some frost outside but everything is steadily getting greener. It’s time to freshen up our kitchen with some spring decor.
Decorating for spring can be so simple. We started with two bouquets of white tulips. I love gathering flowers from our garden, but it’ll take weeks before they bloom.
Spring is full of color but we stuck with a neutral palette for our farmhouse kitchen. White tulips go with everything. They play up the black and white while also adding fresh greenery.
It rains a lot during the springtime, plus add in all the slushy melting snow. That makes our yard a muddy mess. We keep our rain boots ready to go in our mudroom that doubles as a breakfast nook.
Eggs are such pretty symbol of spring. If you have fresh chicken eggs you can keep them on the counter as natural decor. Make sure not to wash them though. Then you’ll have to refrigerate to preserve them.
